SSMC CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

At SSMC, we highly value our students and faculty and recognize the importance of maintaining a stable income for our faculty members throughout the academic year. We also understand that circumstances may vary for our students. With this in mind, we have developed a policy that aims to be fair to both faculty and students

Private Music Lessons

For same-day cancellations due to sudden illness or injury, the lesson will be billed and rescheduled, but not refunded.

During the 36-week academic year, students are granted a maximum of 3 "free passes," which allows for cancelling a lesson for any reason. These lessons will be billed and rescheduled during the make-up weeks in June or throughout the year. However, these cancelled lessons are rarely refunded. Please note that vacations or getaways are examples of an eligible for free pass.

Cases of excessive absences or refund requests will be examined on an individual basis and will be granted at the discretion of the SSO Music Conservatory Management.

Group Classes

We consider group classes as an integral part of students' success at SSMC. Due to the number of students participating in these classes, it is not possible to reschedule them. Therefore, there will be no refunds or make-up classes for group sessions. If you are unable to attend a group class, please inform your teacher in advance.
